Lay-up/Recovery

We specialize in providing the extra attention & lots of TLC a  horse recovering from an injury or illness requires. We have experience in following veterinarian instructions in dealing with: abscesses-eye injury-colic-cellulitis-cushings-fracture-laminitis-lacerations-etc.

The fee for a recovering horse confined to a stall starts at $15.00 per day.

Services available for additional fee(s): dispensing daily medications / hand walking / hydro therapy / bandage changes / etc.

Boarding 

Outdoor Pasture - $195 per month

• Coastal hay feed twice daily as needed
• Water tubs scrubbed out 2x's weekly & sanitized 
• Rotational grazing (we practice manure management)
• Trees provide ample shade in our 3 pastures
• Owner provided feed fed daily
• Access to salt blocks year round
• Owner provided fly spray applied as needed

Indoor Box Stall - $330 per month

• Spacious 12x16 box stalls 
• Stalls comfortably layered with pine bedding cleaned 2x's daily
• Quality coastal hay fed 3x's daily
• MG Senior pellets fed in the am & pm 
• Fresh water in buckets provided daily
• Pasture turn-out daily  (weather permitting)

Transportation

If you need assistance transporting your horse to our farm or if you have an emergency... you can count on us! We also support your effort to maintain your horses good health by transporting your horse to your local veterinarian or equine dentist. Rates vary depending on mileage traveled.
